Moon in the sky

The lower fields are done, and the sky has been started - I'm unsure if I like the beads I used for the stars, I'll look tomorrow in the daylight - if not I'll replace the 2 I've added. The moon is securely beaded and the rest should be fast! LOL, right and if you believe that....

TUBING & TARZAN

Danni And Morgan Both Loved Tubing! Does this guy remind you of Tarzan?

A night at the RODEO!

Last night we took the girls to the Rodeo - I thought the girls would mostly be upset but they had a great time - They got a Front Row seat. Bull Riding Rope Tricks Barrel Racing - These girls were fast! It didn't start until dark so most of my photos didn't come out - this is the first time I tried action shots, but a wonderful time was had by all!

The Morgan

We explored the East side of the lake and made it more than half way down. We ended up having lunch in Bolton's Landing. Deepest reading I saw was 478! We still managed to hit a rock on the return trip. Here are Morgan & Danni following THE MORGAN on the journey South. And here is another photo of the 2 girls.

Lake George

The connection here isn't very fast but hopefully I will be able to upload the photo of the most beautiful sky. The sun was setting behind us and the clouds were gorgeous. Our cottage is called The Hill House, Tom has brought his boat and yesterday we spent a wonderful day on the water - Stop laughing - I had a great time, even if I did stay away from the actual water! We were going to go back out today so the girls could go out on the tube, but the rain threatened and attacked all day. Tom, Morgan & Danielle went shopping and I spent the day working on my beaded doll. Its been ages since I've worked on her. Amazing what spending 5 hours can accomplish!

Deirdre is a Traveling Girl!

Last night I was notified that Deirdre of the Sorrows was picked to be in ART QUILTS X - at the Chandler Gallery! I'm very excited - she has quite a schedule. Last week she was also accepted into the Pennsylvania National Quilt Extravaganza, and also she was one of the quilts selected for the Every Woman Exhibit! She just came home from an Art Show at the RGOA! This little lady likes to get around! Congrats, to everyone else who got accepted - lots of friends are going to have work at these shows too! Thelma Smith, Pamela Allen, Deb Richardson, Julie Zaccone Stiller, June Underwood, Tristan Robin Blakeman & Elizabeth Poole. Sorry if I missed anyone! Here is the wonderful photo that Bonnie's husband took of Deirdre.
